FREE exercise class for kids ages 7-13! Class is on Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:30-6:30pm in the South Gym.
NO SCHOOL DAYS
When there is a school break or in-service days for Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley schools, we offer No School Days at the Bettendorf YMCA. Program runs from 7:30am-5:30 pm.
Children ages K-6th will be busy with swimming, arts and crafts, sports and games in the gym, movies and much more. Afternoon snack is provided. Please send your little one with a morning snack, sack Lunch, tennis shoes, swimsuit, and towel. Must register two days prior to avoid $10 late fee.

Power Sports Performance (PSP)
A direct path to “on the field” or “on the court” improvement
Concentrates on and increase speed, quickness and agility.
The faster athlete will be the one who gets the playing time, the awards and the scholarships!
Develop acceleration, first step quickness, change of direction, and agility.
Learn proper mechanics for linear sprinting and change of direction.
Include plyometrics to help increase force production.

I have been a personal trainer for 5 years. Instructor for Les Mills CX Worx for 1 year. I got into Health and Fitness because: I like to inspire people to better themselves. It is a true passion of mine! Something interesting you may not know about me: I am also a group exercise Instructor for the YMCA. I teach Cardio Strength, Les Mills Body Pump, Les Mills Body Attack, Les Mills CXWORX, Pilates, and cycling.

Experience in Personal Training and Wellness: Received Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health, specialization in Exercise Science in May of 2017. I got into Health and Fitness because: Exercise is a passion of mine and I want to help others on their journey. I will do all that I can to help people reach their health and fitness goals. Something interesting you may not know about me: The gym is a major part of my life, but not all of it. I like to practice archery, go on midnight runs, and fix things. On a sunny summer day you can find me Kayaking in Lost Grove Lake, or hiking trails somewhere off the grid. And I’m a BIG superhero fan.

I got into Health and Fitness because: My previous career was in business. I went back to school and started learning more about health and fitness and it led me here. I can’t say this was my original goal, but I am excited to be here and look forward to helping young and old reach their health and fitness goals. Areas of Interest: I am deeply committed to serve people with neurological challenges, for example stroke, and Parkinson's. Then I moved on to other interests but got recertified again as a personal trainer in March 2018. I got into Health and Fitness because: I enjoy helping people lose weight and tone up. I really enjoy helping women with their weight loss goals. Something interesting you may not know about me: I also work part-time doing administration work and freelance graphic design.

College Cross Country athlete. I got into Health and Fitness because: I think its beneficial for everyone to be physically active in some way and I want to show people that it’s possible for anyone to improve their fitness level. Areas of Interest: I specialize in endurance running programs and improving overall strength and fitness. I got into Health and Fitness because: I enjoy training people and watching them achieve their goals the entire step of the way.
