The Y is honored with the responsibility of providing great programs for kids from Kindergarten through 6th grade throughout Scott County!

  • Offered at Bridgeview, Hopewell, Cody, Paul Norton, Grant Wood, Pleasant View, Herbert Hoover and Riverdale Heights
  • Program Begins at 6am until school starts
  • After school begins when school day ends untill 6pm
  • Includes breakfast in morning and afternoon snack after school

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER/School Cancellation  – When school is cancelled and buildings are not open, alternate care is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Davenport YMCA located at 606 W 2nd St. for children who are enrolled in the before or after school program. When you get the announcement that school is cancelled, please call 563-322-7171 to make arrangements to attend. THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ALL DAY CANCELLATIONS!  (We do not have transportation, so parents are required to get students to the inclement weather site.)

YMCA After School Adventures

  • After School (only) at the North and West YMCAs
  • Begins when school ends until 6pm
  • Transportation is inclulded for children at Wilson Elementary for the West Y and children from Eisenhower and Harrison at the North Y
  • Includes afternoon snack
  • This is a school day only program, additional care will be offered at Camp Abe Lincoln on Non-School Days

Kids Day Out/Planned No School Days

  • School break or in-service days for your school are offered at Paul Norton Elementary School and Riverdale Heights Elementary School (care is only offered at Paul Norton when the calendar is different from the Pleasant Valley School District)
  • School Out Days are also offered at the North and Bettendorf YMCAs
  • Programs often include trips to Camp Abe Lincoln
  • We offer care from 6 AM – 6 PM at both locations
  • Your child will be served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack
  • In order to participate, children must have a complete child information packet at one of our sites and be registered by the deadline on the registration form. If your child is not currently enrolled in Kids Club, please allow extra time to fill out and submit the required forms for your child’s registration packet

No School Days for Aug. 19-22 – Bettendorf Schools***

  • Program Open For Registration at the Bettendorf YMCA
  • Participants must have Registration Packet completed
  • Program offered 7:30am – 5:30pm for grades K-6th
  • Safety certified and trained youth development staff
  • Swim suit, towel, smile, good energy and fun needed by each child
