Summer Fun Club at Riverdale Heights Elementary

  • Fun, Safe & Healthy for Kindergarten through 6th Grade

  • All staff certified and trained for safety

  • Cool, weekly themes designed to excite kids to attend everyday
  • Program begins at 6am until 6pm

  • Breakfast, lunch and snack included

  • Cost: $148 for Y Household Members/$158 for Community per week

  • One-time $25 Registration Fee covers camp t-shirt and all field trip costs

  • Optional $50 non-refundable deposit will reserve a spot (recommended)

  • Program inside gym, cafeteria and fields, plus lots of field trips and use of the Bett Y

Our improved process makes online registration easier for families and our staff leaders to ensure that every child is safe, our programs meet the highest-levels of certifications, and parents can provide the large amounts required information in an efficient manner.

  • The first step is paying the registration fee online (below).
  • The next step is to complete our Summer Camp Registration packet to be used for any and all Y Summer Camp Programs, including Camp Abe Lincoln.
  • The Summer Camp Registration packet will be emailed to you  – usually within one business day of your registration fee payment – or it can be downloaded by clicking here, completed, and emailed to Kayla at KDodd@ScottCountyFamilyY.org
  • Once we have received your fully-completed packet and registration fee, we will notify you by email that your account is unlocked and ready to register for any/all weeks for any of our Y Summer Camp programs, including all branches and Day/Resident Camp.

A couple quick things regarding financial assistance and member rates: Y Member Rates are for household members; Y Financial Assistance is applied up to 50% for household members using our Income-Based Membership Program – financial assistance is automatically applied in our registration; 3rd party or DHS funding is available and begins by completing the one-time Summer Camp Registration Packet and paying the one-time $25 registration fee.

SCFY KIDS CLUB PROGRAMS

Before & After School

  • We offer child care in the Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley Community School Districts before and after school
  • *INCLEMENT WEATHER  – When school is cancelled, alternate care is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the YMCA located at 606 W 2nd Street in Davenport for children who are enrolled in the before or after school program. When you get the announcement that school is cancelled, please call 563-322-7171 to make arrangements to attend. THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ALL DAY CANCELLATIONS!  (We do not have transportation, so parents are required to get students to the inclement weather site.)

AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURES

  • Only after school child care is offered at the West Y and North Y
  • Children from Wilson are accepted for the West Y and children from Eisenhower and Harrison are accepted for the North Y
  • This is a school day only program, additional care will be offered at Camp Abe Lincoln on Non-School Days

 Kids Day Out

  • School break or in-service days for your school are offered at Paul Norton Elementary School and Riverdale Heights Elementary School (care is only offered at Paul Norton when the calendar is different from the Pleasant Valley School District)
  • We offer care from 6 AM – 6 PM at both locations
  • Your child will be served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack
  • In order to participate, children must have a complete child information packet at one of our sites and be registered by the deadline on the registration form. If your child is not currently enrolled in Kids Club, please allow extra time to fill out and submit the required forms for your child’s registration packet
