Annual Support Campaign
Over 80% of our campers attend camp without any assistance. We believe however, that every child should have the opportunity to attend camp, regardless of their families ability to financially afford it. We do this through our annual Kids to Camp Campaign. This annual fundraiser allows us to give support to the families who really need it. Many times, this support is given to a family on a one time basis due to medical situations, family dynamic changes, or employment layoffs. This campaign allows children in families like these to have a sense of normalcy when everything around them is changing.
If you believe in what we do at camp and want to help children in our community who really want to be here, please consider giving. You can either select the link below and give online or you can call Nick Martinez, Camp Director, and discuss other potential areas of philanthropy. Thank you for your support.

Leave a Legacy
The majority of Camp Abe Lincoln’s success has been built upon the shoulders of phenomenal volunteers. Our lake, sidewalks, trails, chapel, and many more projects were completed by volunteers who believe in the spirit of camp. If camp had an impact on your life and you want to give back some of your time to help pay it forward, please contact Nick Martinez to discuss volunteer opportunities available. We do ask that all volunteers undergo our background check to ensure the safety of our campers.
Camp participates in the United Way Day of Caring in the fall and the spring. If you’re interested in joining in on the fun, please contact Nick. This is a great time to get your company together for some philanthropy.
- Camp Nurse (RN)
- The camp nurse comes in on a daily basis and looks through small incident reports to make sure correct First Aid was given. The camp nurse would also help assist at check-in on Sundays from 1:30pm-3:30pm. We currently have two camp nurses who split weekends but could always use additional help.
- The 252 acres that Camp Abe Lincoln rests on are beautiful but could always use additional support to maintain flower beds, weed around buildings, upkeep in the camp garden, and generally maintaining the overall appearance of camp. If you have a green thumb and would like to leave your mark on camp, please let us know.
- The majority of our property is covered by trees. While our trees give us great shade, the also need trimming and removal from time to time. If you are trained/certified in tree trimming or removal and would be wiling to help keep our campers as safe as possible, we could use your help.
