Partner With Youth/Kids-to-Camp Campaign At the Scott County Family Y, when we say, “for all,” we really mean it. No person is ever turned away from one of our programs because of an inability to pay. The Partner With Youth program is a key part in this mission and a vital path for every one of thousands of children to build a healthy spirit, mind and body. Partner with Youth is designed to give more children and families the opportunity to benefit from the Scott County Family Y programs by providing scholarships to those in need. Every year, we award over $1.2 million in scholarships. By striving to include as many young people as possible into YMCA programs, we hope to make a positive impact on the families of today as well as the families of the future. In every sense, Partner With Youth is an investment for the future of our community. We achieved our 2007 goal for Partner With Youth by bringing in $350,000. Every penny of your contribution will allow more children to participate in a variety of YMCA programs, including memberships, childcare, after school programs, teen clubs and camping experiences. No one is turned away from the Scott County Family Y because of an inability to pay. Financial assistance is available at all local Y’s thanks to the generous support of those who give to our annual Partner With Youth & Kids to Camp Campaign. |
