The Bettendorf Family YMCA - located at 3800 Tanglefoot Lane on the corner of Devil's Glenn, has been part of the Scott County Family Y since September 2004. This facility is a full service YMCA that features a unique indoor year-round Aquatic Center, a strength-training/cardiovascular center, an upper-level group fitness area & 2 full court gymnasiums. The building is also a community partnership with Genesis Health System and includes the Genesis Power Sports Performance program.

Day Membership Policy: To better serve our members, Day Membership sales may be limited during our peak hours. Please call ahead and bring in an ID. You'll sign in and pay $6.00 for a youth, $12.00 for an adult or $18.00 for a household.

Bettendorf Y Family Aquatic Center
The Aquatic Center offers a zero depth entry pool with a two-story water slide, dew drop umbrella, frog slide, bubblers as well as a separate six-lane lap pool! Also offered are a wide variety of swimming lessons for all ages, adult water fitness classes, a whirlpool, steam room & sauna. The Aquatic Center is available for open swim daily. The Aquatic Center can even be rented for special occasions & birthday parites!!
Cross Training Room
The Bettendorf Family Y Cross Training Room (CTR) utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to help you maintain a healthy mind, body & spirit. The 4,000 square-feet facility features cardiovascular equipment including: Precor treadmills & ellipticals, upright & recumbent stationary bikes, Concept II rowers and Paramount strength training equipment.
Too old for Child Watch? Let the Y Staff lead fun activities in a safe, structured environment for your 6-12 year old during extended school breaks (Spring, Winter, Summer). Y Pals is a drop-in program from 8am-12pm, with an annual registration fee per child per calendar year of $25 to cover the cost of staff and supplies. Once your child is registered, they may attend Y Pals any day the program is offered during the calendar year. Y Pals follows the Bettendorf and PV School District Calendars. Activities include: crafts, free time in the gym/game areas, gym games, Kidz Fit ‘n Fun classes, and movies. Y Pals is an extension of Child Watch, therefore, snacks are not provided and parents are not permitted to leave Y property while their child is signed into Y Pals. Electronic devices are not allowed.
The Bettendorf Family Y offers a free babysitting service for family members. This service is for families who have children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age. Parents, with a household membership, can bring their children to our Child Watch room and we provide caring staff who will interact with them while you get in a great workout! The maximum amount of time allowed is two hours and parents must remain in the building.
Child Watch Hours:
Monday through Saturday 8 am to Noon Monday through Thursday
4 pm to 8 pm
Heart Healthy Program
Designed for our Active Older Adult population, the Heart Healthy Program has an added level of staff supervision to make sure all participants are comfortable. Click here to find out more information about this great program!
