The Bettendorf Family YMCA - located at 3800 Tanglefoot Lane on the corner of Devil's Glenn, has been part of the Scott County Family Y since September 2004.  This facility is a full service YMCA that features a fantastic indoor year-round Aquatic Center complete with waterslide, zero-depth entry family pool with water features as well as a large 6-lane lap pool, a state-of-the-art strength-training/cardiovascular center, an upper-level group fitness area & 2 gymnasiums.  The building is also a community partnership with Genesis Health System and includes the Genesis Power Sports Performance program.


Daily Memberships: Please bring in a photo ID. You'll sign in and pay $6.00 for a youth, $12.00 for an adult or $18.00 for a household daily membership at our Welcome Center.

Bettendorf Y Family Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center offers a zero-depth entry pool with a two-story water slide, dew drop umbrella, frog slide, bubblers as well as a separate six-lane lap pool! Also offered are a wide variety of swimming lessons for all ages, adult water fitness classes, whirlpool, steam room & sauna.  The Aquatic Center is available for open swim daily and can even be rented for special occasions & birthday parites!!

Cross Training Room (CTR)

The Bettendorf Family YMCA Cross Training Room (CTR) utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to help you maintain a healthy mind, body & spirit.  The 4,000 square-foot facility features cardiovascular equipment including: Precor & Cybex treadmills, Precor ellipticals, upright & recumbent Cybex stationary bikes, Concept II rowers and Cybex strength training equipment. 


Too old for Child Watch?  Let the Y Staff lead fun activities in a safe, structured environment for your 8-13 year old during extended school breaks (Spring, Winter, Summer).  Y Pals is a FREE drop-in program from 4-7pm on Monday and Wednesday nights and 8am-noon on Saturday mornings!  Y Pals follows the Bettendorf and PV School District Calendars.  Activities include: crafts, free time in the gym/game areas, gym games, Kidz Fit ‘n Fun classes, and movies.  Y Pals is an extension of Child Watch, therefore, snacks are not provided and parents are not permitted to leave Y property while their child is signed into Y Pals.  Electronic devices are not allowed.

Child Watch

The Bettendorf Family Y offers a free babysitting service for family members.  This service is for families who have children between 6 weeks and 7 years of age.  Parents, with a household membership, can bring their children to our Child Watch room FREE of charge and we provide caring staff who will interact with them while you get in a great workout!  The maximum amount of time allowed is two hours and parents must remain in the building.

Child Watch Hours:

Monday through Saturday 8am-Noon Monday through Thursday 4pm-8pm

Healthy Heart Program

Designed for our Active Older Adult population, the Healthy Heart Program has an added level of staff supervision to make sure all participants are comfortable. Click here to find out more information about this great program!
