The North Family YMCA ushered in a unique collaboration between the Scott County Family Y and the Davenport Schools designed to benefit all of Scott County. The 50,000 square-foot, $6.8 million full facility YMCA is shared by the community, students and student-athletes of North High School. The facilities themselves – a 25-yard 8-lane pool, aerobics and strength-training center, special needs/family locker rooms, teen center, multi-purpose rooms, racquetball courts and gym – are some of the nicest in the entire area.
