Child Watch is one of the many benefits of being a member of the Scott County Family Y. This free service is for our family members who have children between the ages of six-weeks and six- years of age. Providing children with a safe place to play, grow and socialize is a priority of the YMCA’s Child Watch Centers. The Child Watch rooms at the Scott County Family YMCA location are not state-licensed day care facilities. However we do follow the state's requirements for child care. This includes the child to adult ratios and room capacities. From time-to-time we do reach capacity of the room or child to adult ratio's. When this happens we will limit the number of children in Child Watch. The Child Watch service is provided for you while you are at our facility working out. It is not permissible to leave your child in the Child Watch Center and then leave the premises. Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns you have to any member of the Child Watch team or the membership director at your YMCA branch. We look forward to learning, growing and getting to know you and your family. Check with your branch to determine their Child Watch hours and site specific information. |
