A beautiful gift like YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln is something that has to be shared with the entire world.  That’s why our staff have put together such an incredible array of programs. We want to get everyone involved in activities that not only help to grow a healthy spirit, mind and body, but grow a healthy spirit, mind and body in a wilderness environment that gives a perfect example of how amazing God is.

Of course we have Resident Camp at YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln.  We’ve led the way in exciting character development programs for over 80 years! What would the campers in 1924 think about the 50-foot high Alpine Tower?  Today anyone from 8 to 14 years old can come to make new friends will taking part in the adventure of a lifetime.

In the off-season months, like now in October, we encourage any and all to come out to our Pumpkin Patch. It's a great time for everyone in the family, and Camp in autumn is one of the most picturesque places on the planet.

Our Starter Camp is aimed to introduce those as young as 6 years old to the exciting world of camping.  By checking in at 2 p.m. on the first day and leaving at 7:30 p.m. on the third, this is a great way to get a full taste of one of the greatest experiences of a lifetime.

A trip to YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln can be just the beginning of an unforgettable trip. Our Trailblazer Adventure Trips blaze a path throughout the Midwest.  Canoeing through the wild and pristine Boundary Waters, kayaking and camping on the beaches of the Apostle Islands, exploring caves, even skateboarding and in-lining the coolest skate parks throughout Wisconsin, we’ve got some amazing trips that will live on in memory forever.

It might seem like our Day Camp is the same service for parents as any other summer program. After all, it’s not the parents who get to shoot bow and arrows, explore our nature trails, fly down our waterslide, make new friends and ride horses. So why is our Day Camp superior for parents, too? Because your loved ones will wake up ready to go, and return to you after an action-packed, value-driven day.

For our younger day campers, we have a Kinder Camp better suited to introduce 4 and 5 year olds to the outdoors.  Our age-appropriate activities and 1:6 counselor to child ratio make this a perfect beginning to a lifetime of outdoor adventure.

We also have awesome adventure activities for our day campers. Our Day Specialty Camps let kids have an out-of-this-world good time while still sleeping in their own beds.  Horses, mountain biking, climbing, art and soccer are just a few of the specialties we have available.
