SCFY Kids Club Programs

Before & After School

Kid’s Club is an exciting program for children in elementary school. We offer child care in the Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley Community School Districts before and after school.  Our certified, caring and highly-trained staff offer children a safe and healthy environment where they have a wonderful enriching experience that entertains while still instilling our core values and life lessons. We pride ourselves in the development of age-appropriate lesson plans that are both recreational, FUN! and educational.

*INCLEMENT WEATHER  - When school is cancelled, alternate care is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the YMCA located at 606 W 2nd Street in Davenport for children who are enrolled in the before or after school program. When you get the announcement that school is cancelled, please call 563-322-7171 to make arrangements to attend.

Summer Fun Club

Since there is no school how can Kids Club operate during the summer?  We're glad you asked!  We offer a summer child care program for elementary school aged children that brings summer fun to a whole new level, which is why we call it Summer Fun Club!

Summer Fun Club is offered to any child, 5 years old who has successfully completed Kindergarten through 12 years old.

Care is offered from 6 AM- 6 PM at two locations: Riverdale Heights Elementary School & Davenport YMCA.

Registration is on a week-by-week basis, this way you only sign up for the weeks that you need!  We offer the same fantastic lesson planning and enriching activities that we have at Kids Club, as well as fun field trips to go along with those.

Kids Day Out

When there is a school break or in-service days for your school, we offer Kids Day Out at Paul Norton Elementary School and Riverdale Heights Elementary School (care is only offered at Paul Norton when the calendar is different from the Pleasant Valley School District).  We offer care from 6 AM - 6 PM at both locations.  Your child will be served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack (all inclusive).  Our staff plan fun activities for all children, and often times exciting adventurous field trips (also inclusive in the cost of the program).  Some of our field trips have included Happy Joes, Eldridge Skate Park, Monkey Joe's, Camp Abe Lincoln, Bettendorf YMCA, and many others.

In order to participate, children must have a complete child information packet at one of our sites and be registered by the deadline on the registration form. If your child is not currently enrolled in Kids Club, please allow extra time to fill out and submit the required forms for your child's registration packet.
